The purpose of this project is to build a new link that will connect the A3 Highway with the DN1 and to relieve the heavy traffic in the Turda Municipality, to shorten the travel times between the Turda Municipality, the Cluj metropolitan area and the A10 and A3 Highways, to reduce the emission of noxes from the urban environment of the city of Turda. Currently, the traffic is taking place in conditions of heavy traffic, speed and reduced road safety/security through urban areas.
The express road will ensure the connection between two main transport routes in Cluj county, namely: the connection between the A3 Highway (Turda) and the European National Road DN1/E81 in the Mărtinești area on the UAT Tureni radius.
– The total length of the express road is 4,957 km
– The two main components (A3 and DN1) are connected by means of two trumpet-type road nodes with a total length of the braces of 7,773 km
Along the entire length of the project we have a total number of 9 works of art:
– Bridges: 8 pcs.
– Viaducts: 1 pc.
